Heritage Approved Contractor Mark – National Federation of Builders
Imperial Construction is proud to hold the Heritage Approved Contractor Mark, awarded by the National Federation of Builders (NFB). This prestigious mark recognises our expertise and commitment to heritage and traditional building work. It assures clients that we meet the highest standards in conservation and restoration projects, particularly for listed and historic properties.
The Heritage Approved Contractor Mark is backed by the NFB’s Code of Conduct and complaints procedure. It enables construction clients and main contractors to independently verify our credentials across seven key qualifying criteria:
- Current NFB membership and adherence to its Code of Conduct
- Minimum five years of experience in heritage and traditional buildings
- Completion of at least three heritage projects in the last five years
- Submission of two client references for heritage work
- Declaration of specific heritage services offered
- Employment of a project manager with over five years of heritage experience
- Use of tradespeople or subcontractors with at least five years of heritage experience
